Every year, Cypress Bay holds a freshman orientation where the incoming freshman are given a tour of the school and introduced to the clubs that the school offers. We participated and got the incoming freshman excited about FTC.

Western Gifted Camp
We taught campers how to build, program, and operate EV3 robots. They seemed to enjoy the camp and got excited about STEM

Rose STEM Academy
We demonstrated our robots there and let the kids drive our community service robot, Leo, and our robot from two seasons ago, Sandy. They seemed like they were having a lot of fun and enjoying themselves.

Weston YMCA Stem Camp
We created the curriculum for the camp and volunteered for 7 weeks. We had a lot of fun teaching campers the exciting nature of STEM.
CSI STEM Camp
We volunteered at the camp for 5 weeks and got them excited about robotics by helping them build cardboard robotic hands to better understand the engineering process.

Motorola Take Your Child To Work Day
Motorola annually holds a "Take your child to work day" at the beginning of every summer. This year, we participated in the event and held a mock match with 2 other FTC teams. The kids also got to drive the robots after we taught them how.
